Worcester Police: Residents, Baby Injured In Late-Night Shooting

WORCESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — At around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday night, Worcester Police officers responded to a shooting that left two residents and an infant with injuries that appear to be non-life-threatening.

Following up on a report from a ShotSpotter alert, police arrived at Harlem Street to find out that shots had been fired and that victims had been transferred to a local hospital. Officers say that a 25-year-old man, 24-year-old woman, and an 11-month-old child were among those that suffered non-lethal wounds in the shooting.

Detectives visited the hospital where the victims are being treated to investigate.

The Worcester Police Department is asking that anyone with related information to this incident call police or send an anonymous message on its website.
