Weymouth Police Identify Woman Killed In Saturday Hit And Run

WEYMOUTH, Mass.(WBZ NewsRadio) — The Norfolk County District Attorney has identified the woman killed in a South Weymouth hit-and-run Saturday. They said 61-year-old Xuan D. Vo was walking near Pleasant Street and Ralph Talbot Street at around 2:45 AM on Saturday when she was hit by a car.

Weymouth Police found Vo lying in on the sidewalk, and tried to revive her, to no avail. The car that hit the woman fled the scene.

Police are urging the driver to "do the right thing," and turn themselves in. Weymouth Police and the D.A.'s Motor Vehicle Homicide unit is still investigating, and extended their condolences to Vo's family.
