Groveland Police Seek Woman Who Allegedly Left Australian Shepherd Puppy

GROVELAND, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Monday afternoon Groveland Police responded to a local animal rescue institution on reports that a Australian Shepherd puppy had been discovered seemingly abandoned.

Officials say the puppy was found in a nearby alleyway uninjured.

In terms of the owner, Groveland Police believe a blonde woman driving a black Mazda SUV is a suspect of animal cruelty in the case. She was last seen wearing a black Maine School of Law sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on the abandonment and the suspect is urged to contact the GPD.
