BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A new company has entered Boston's catering scene to offer unique "cocktail table set ups" or "Grownups Tables" to events like parties, weddings, and more.
WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe got to check out what bubbling concoctions Sol y Sal Boston have in store.
Staff test out different cocktails in their commercial kitchen with fresh juices. Owner Nicole Pimentel says all drinks from Sol y Sal are handmade with all natural ingredients.
"If it's a mango purée, we're puréeing the mango ourselves. Sour mixes— we do not buy store-bought sour mixes. We put these cocktails on display, different risers, different pedestals, different glass shape and sizes, different color cocktails. We make it a focal point of the room, it's your modern day dessert table, it's an adult version of a candy table," Pimentel said.

Pimentel says she began mixology and catering events for her own family and friends as a hobby, and then it grew from there into a business. When the tables are done, the drinks are glowing under lights and bubbling with dry ice effects.
