BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Dorchester man is pleading guilty to several sex trafficking charges. Bruce "Arki" Brown of Boston was indicted on the original charges in February 2020.

Other indictments from the summer of 2020 accused Brown of trafficking five victims over 15 years, beginning in 2004 and ending in 2019. In addition, the man was charged with several counts of obstruction of justice and witness tampering. Prosecutors said Brown had tried to influence witness testimony on the charges against him, calling the scheme his "Plan B."

He pleaded guilty on Monday to counts of sex trafficking a minor, two counts of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and transportation of a minor for purposes of prostitution.

Each of the charges carries a fine of up to $250,000, and Brown is facing up to life in prison.
