Cars Of Two Boston Children's Nurses Broken Into

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Two Boston Children's nurses had their car windows smashed and valuables stolen while working 12-hour shifts at the hospital on Saturday.

Renee Cather is one of those nurses, and she spoke to the Boston Globe about the incident. She said she’s disappointed someone would try to rob either parents of sick children, or the staff that take care of them. “I just felt really, really sad that something like that would happen at a Children’s Hospital parking lot.”

A hospital spokeswoman says the incidents happened in the Patient Family Parking Garage. She also said the hospital has a police detail on-site, as well as a security team and standard parking garage security, including an attendant and video surveillance cameras.
