Boston Truck Driver Shot To Death In Vermont

ROCKINGHAM, Vt. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Vermont State Police say a Boston produce delivery driver was found dead in his truck on Friday from apparent gunshot wounds in Rockingham.

The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Roberto Fonseca-Rivera. He worked for the Hyde Park-based company, Katsiroubas Produce and was making deliveries in Vermont at the time.

An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday to confirm that cause of death.

Authorities believe the shooting to have happened Friday afternoon between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Fonseca-Rivera was last seen alive around 12:15 p.m. His body was discovered around 5:45 p.m. Friday on Vermont Route 103.

The death is currently under investigation.
