BOSTON (WBZ-AM) — Patriots are off to the Super Bowl to face the Rams in Atlanta a week from Sunday, in large part because of Tom Brady's heroics, but also because of Dee Ford's mistake.

The Chiefs linebacker lined up in the neutral zone with 54 seconds left in regulation of the AFC Championship and the Pats down 28-24.

Brady's third-and-10 pass was intercepted, which effectively would've ended the game, but the QB's miscue was negated by Ford's flub. New England scored, and we know the rest.

But, Kansas City fans didn't limit their frustration to Dee Ford the football player.

Twitter users also unintentionally blasted a poor 47-year-old Englishwoman who shares the same name.

THAT Dee Ford told the Kansas City Star she was berated and flooded with angry tweets from Chiefs fans after the late penalty, which was somewhat ironic since she became a big fan of the player and football after being inadvertently tagged in a positive tweet to him five years ago.

The Chiefs' Ford actually doesn't have a Twitter account. Can't imagine he'll join any time soon either.
