BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- WBZ NewsRadio1030 has learned that one of the most notorious mobsters in Boston and this nation is said to be in deteriorating health.

The Boston Globe says that Whitey Bulger is ailing. Because of this, he's been moved from Federal lockup in Florida to a transfer facility in Oklahoma.

The Southie crime boss has suffered from a heart condition for decades, even before he became a fugitive or a prisoner.

It's not clear where he'll be transferred to.
