Sam is one of the many residents in North Andover who are still without gas service.

With overnight temperatures dropping to the lowest since last months explosions and fires, he and his nine college roommates are struggling to stay warm - even though they got those free electric space heaters.

North Andover Town Manager Andrew Maylor tells WBZ NewsRadio1030 that he's worried.

Officials are warning don’t use those electric space heaters unless you’re home has been deemed safe to use them by an electrician. And officials are urging if you’re too cold, seek alternative housing by contacting Columbia Gas.
