Man Claims He Was Paid To Commit Carjacking

WEYMOUTH (24/7 NewsSource) -- A man is being held without bail after an overnight carjacking in Weymouth.  

Police say 25-year-old Jacob Garvin claims he was given eighty dollars to steal the car and drive it to the Quincy Adams MBTA Station. He's being charged with armed carjacking, assault by means of a dangerous weapon, threats to murder, larceny of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, and speeding.
