BROCKTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- The reward for information about the death of a chihuahua, left in a dog carrier outside a Brockton Animal Shelter has just doubled to $ 2,000 dollars. The MSPCA tells WBZ NewsRadio1030 that Marshfield businessman, Joe LaFluer, donated an additional $1,000 dollars to the reward money Friday morning.

They tell WBZ NewsRadio1030 that they've received dozens of tips but there haven't been any real breaks in the case. That dog died from the heat on Tuesday and anyone with information should contact the MSPCA at 800-628-5808.
