Man Arrested For Shooting Into Roxbury Crowd

BOSTON (24/7 NewsSource) -- Boston Police have caught a Winthrop man accused of firing a weapon into a crowd of people. 

Authorities say someone fired a gun into a crowd on Bishop Joe L. Smith Way in Roxbury, then quickly fled the scene on Monday. After a lengthy search, officers identified and found 26-year-old Tre Lankford about a mile away. 

They also arrested his getaway driver, 26-year-old Jamaal Reese. A male victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
