BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Danny Amendola and Dion Lewis were two of the Patriots' most impactful players last year. But both are also unrestricted free agents and understand they may not be back in New England.

Amendola chatted yesterday with students at Bryant University. The sound, below, is courtesy of WPRI in Providence.

"I don't want to leave," he said. "But, you know, it's a business," he said.

And Lewis was a guest on Adam Schefter's podcast, where he said he's built great relationships in New England and loves living close to his family.

"Things are perfect, but you know, at the same time, it's a business," he said. "Hopefully it'll work out, but you know, at the same time, you can't really think that way, you got to take care of yourself and your family at the same time. I think it'll work out, I hope it'll work out."
