WORCESTER (WBZ-AM) -- A Northboro man was arrested Tuesday night in connection to a body found in a burning car in a cemetery.

Worcester Police said Steven Foley, 56, was arrested in Peabody on an outstanding warrant. They took him in with help from Peabody and Massachusetts State Police.

Officers were called to Hope Cemetery in Worcester on Tuesday, December 12 for a call about a burning car.

After the flames were put out, they found human remains inside.

The Worcester District Attorney’s office later identified the remains as belonging to 59-year-old Cynthia Webb of Sterling.

Last week, police called on the public to help them find information about the incident--and issued photos of a red Buick LaSabre they were searching for.

Foley was charged with burning a motor vehicle--but does not face any charges in Webb’s death at this time.
