Pickleball is Heading To Fenway Park This July For Anyone Who Wants To Play

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Pickleball is headed to Fenway Park this summer.

On Thursday, the home of the Red Sox announced the park will host professional and amateur pickleball tournaments as well as open play for fans from July 13 to 16.

In anticipation of high demand, Fenway Park is asking fans who wish to participate in the amateur tournament or want to purchase court reservations to register online at redsox.com/pickleball. More information about purchasing tickets for the professional tournament will be available soon.

There will be twelve temporary pickleball courts in Fenway Park's outfield available for rent in 80-minute increments for up to 10 participants of any skill level.

Fenway Park is teaming up with Pickleball4America, an organization partnered with the US Open Pickleball Championships, to put on the event for fans of what they are calling America's fastest-growing sport.
