Kenny Chesney Comes Back To Gillette Stadium For Venue-Record Performance

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A country star is heading to Gillette Stadium next summer for a venue-record performance.

Kenny Chesney announced he will be coming back to Foxboro on Aug. 23 for his 22nd time as a part of his North American "Sun Goes Down" tour.

Chesney will be joined by Zack Brown Band, Megan Moroney, and Uncle Kracker.

The tour kicks off at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fl. on April 20. Gillette Stadium is the last stop on the tour. Cheney said ending the tour at Gillette, where he has performed to well over a million people over the years, has become a tradition.

Tickets go on sale for the public on Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. Presale tickets go on sale Nov. 10 at 10 a.m.
